MEET THE TEAM

Trent Chapman is the Creator of the ASK youth Program and founder of Prevent consultants. Trent spent over 10 years working in the mental health first aid space as a master trainer, delivering programs to thousands of people. Having personal experience in the clinical world of mental health both professionally and personally Trent became intensely aware of the need to grow personal skills in order to prevent mental health problems. Trent also spent many years as a successful personal trainer and knows the connection between mind and body is integral in preventative health. On the back of this experience and knowledge he teamed up with Local and well known Mental health nurse and first aid trainer Steve Carrig to create the ASK preventative mental health and wellbeing programs with the aim to inspire, educate and connect.

Kellie Coates is the ASK Youth Director, an ASK workshop Facilitator, Health Educator, Human Movement specialist, Basketball Coach, Athlete, Content Creator, Empowerment and mindset development Coach, Personal trainer, and Pilates instructor. Kellie brings over 23 years of experience in the education and health and wellbeing spaces to the team. Kellie has spent years developing her knowledge, skills and expertise in the classroom, coaching youth, and in personal development. She is passionate about health and wellbeing and understands the need to see the big picture through her own first hand experiences and through the eyes of an athlete, a mother, an educator and a woman

Sammi J is an ASK Youth Facilitator, Psychosocial Recovery Coach and Movements Specialist. Sammi spent a substantial amount of time living in the United States where he played High School basketball and moved on to play NCAA collegiate basketball for Western State Colorado University. At Western he received Degrees in both Psychology and Sociology. Sammi has been Coaching kids in arrange of different sports for well over 15 years. Sammi’s passion is giving back to the youth and teaching them ways to better understand themselves and their bodies. “You are not crazy; you just don’t understand the messages your body is attempting to communicate.”

Sara Davis is a former elite Triathlete and brings her talents as a human resources specialist to our ASK team. She is a harmoniser and uses her incredible skill and drive to make things happen. Sara also has experience in the mental health space and understands how important it is to continue learning and providing opportunities for growth to prevent mental health problems.
